Our Story
Wetmore Appraisals is the Annapolis Valley’s leading appraisal firm, but serves all Central and Western Nova Scotia with residential and commercial appraisals.
With a history of doing appraisals in Kentville that dates back to the early 1990s as a family owned and operated company, Wetmore Appraisals continues to grow its business and its reputation throughout the region and the industry.
In the late 1990s, company co-founders David and Carol Wetmore joined forces with former Kentville Mayor and appraiser David Corkum to form Wetmore Corkum Appraisers. Mr. Corkum retired in May 2018 and the company shortened its name to Wetmore Appraisals.
In 2016 David and Carol’s son Jonathan joined the company and has since obtained the CRA designation. The company has also mentored numerous candidate appraisers over the years.

Wetmore Appraisals is a proud member of the Appraisal Institute Canada, the Nova Scotia Real Estate and the Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce, and a regular supporter of Fundy Food Bank, a volunteer organization that is committed to providing emergency food relief to individuals and families. We have also supported numerous other charitable causes over the years.
